WWII U.S. BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE BELT w/SUSPENDERS - DATED 1942

Description

This is a stunning World War II Model 1918 Browning Automatic Rifle belt rig that remains in near mint condition. The belt is constructed of light khaki canvas webbing with two sections of three pockets in each. The right section is clearly marked, “CHARLES F. CLARK INC.– 1942”. All snaps function properly and there is no staining, fraying, or damage anywhere on the belt. Attached to the belt is a pair of Model 1936 Combat Suspenders that are maker marked, “U.S. FROEHLICH CO. - 1942”. All the blackened finish remains on the medal buckles and hooks, and they are completely without rust or damage as is the light khaki colored webbing. This remains a beautiful looking BAR rig just as Kirby wore in the classic series, COMBAT! and about as nice as they get. The pockets have foam rubber blocks in them to maintain their shape.
