WWI / WW1 U.S. Army, Ammunition Box, Wood, Original WWI Olive Drab Paint, Original Leather Handle, Very Nice Condition.
Original World War I U.S. Army, .30 Cal Wooden Ammunition Box, Retains its original WWI Olive Drab Paint and has never been repainted.
The WWI Ammo Box has its original brown leather handle.
The WWI Ammunition Box is in very nice condition.
The Hinge and Push Button Opener are made of Brass.
All of the corner joints are tongue and grove and are in great condition.
The original leather handle has an old, barely noticeable repair made to crack in the leather which is barely noticeable (see pictures).
The inside of the WWI Ammunition Box is nice and clean and has the stenciled bullet silhouettes on the bottom (see pictures).
The WWI Ammunition Box measures about 15 ¼” x 8” x 4 ½” inches and weighs about 5 ½ pounds.
