WWI USGI 1918 Field Gear- web belt, holster, canteen, cartridge pouch.
The web belt is manufactured by Mills Woven Cartridge BeltCo. of Worchester, MA in excellent condition. These belts were manufactured between 1914 and1918.
The Mod. 1916 holster designed forthe Colt 1911 45cal pistol was manufactured by “S&R”- an extremely rare holster- inspected by "J.P.C."
S&R is abbreviation of Sheffer and Rossum of St. Paul. MI. S&R made holsters only in the years1918 and 1919.
The canteen and pot are both dated 1918, all parts working properly, and in excellent condition.
The dual magazine pouch is appropriate for the holster.
The pouch is dated 1918 by P.B & Co. and in like new condition.
The first aid pouch is hard to read but appears to have the date of 1918 on the back.
To find field gear of this nature all date appropriate is extremely rare. I have more photos of specific areas.
