    Description

    Offered here is an original pair of 3 power night glass, US Navy binoculars with drop-down amber filters that work as they should.  The markings indicate that these were made at the US Naval Gun Factory Optical Shop in Rochester, NY.  Serial number hand engraved in one of the barrels. They measure 5 1/2" long with the lens barrel hoods unextended.  The optics are clear, no scratches or chips to the lenses,  and the night filters function as they should. Lots of glass in these, as they are quite heavy. There is no damage to the textured leatherette barrel covering, though the binoculars could use a cleaning.
