Description
A small lot of period well used WWI U.S. items.Service issued trousers. OD green, 1918 contract label inside. Trousers have small holes, moth nips and some stains. All buttons are in place. Trouser legs have been cut off just above the cuff, (often seen in trousers), a crude alteration, by the wearer in 1918.
Sam Browne belt in poor condition leather is very dry and cracked, would not be suitable for use. Could possibly be cleaned up enough for display on a manikin, maybe. Does have all buckles and keepers, could be of use for it's metal parts to use on another belt.
One pair of m.1910 leggings with laces, dated 1918. These are clean and in used condition. Needs re stitching of one hem.
A first aid packet tin. Bauer and Black, May 1918 contract date. Tin ring is pulled and partially opened.
