WWI US Army Cavalry AEF M1918 Mounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield - Marked: P.B. & Co. 1918 -RARE 9-Pocket Variation - Unissued Condition
Up for auction is a WWI US Army Cavalry M1918 Mounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifles.  This belt has 9 pockets.  The belt was designed to hold 18 Stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield rifles.  There is also a space on the left side of the belt with a snap for the M1910 Pistol Magazine Pouch.  The belt is used, please see photo's for Condition.  No rips or tears.  No fraying or fading.  One of the fasteners has pulled through the canvas, see photo.   It has the early Khaki Color.  It has a faint P.B. & Co. marking on the center belt.  This is a RARE Variation and is not often offered for sale.  This belt will not last for long.
This would make a welcomed addition to any WWII Collection.
