WWI US ARMY CAVALRY LEATHER SADDLE BAGS PLEASE SEE DESCRIPTION. These bags have Arsenal markings including 17M56. I’m not sure of the year they were made but the leather, straps and buckles are in great condition. No liners but brass holders are all in tact. This set appears to have been cut down and put back together with brass brads many years ago. Please inspect pictures as these are the bags I will ship. Leather is in very good shape but could use some saddle soap.
I’d sure like to know the history on these, such a great estate sale find.
