    WWI Era US Army Squad Leaders Pouch - Dated 1918 - Unissued Condition
    Up for sale is a WWI Era US Army Squad Leaders Pouch.  This pouch is in Unissued Condition - No evidence of prior usage.  It is dated 1918 and there is a set of intials "RS" stamped under the flap.  The squad leader pouch was used to store items and doucments that needed to be accessible at any time.  It was worn on the M1910 Haversack Pack on the belt hook attachment for the T-Handle shovel.  This mounting procedure left the squad leaders pouch accessible below the meat can pouch.  Usually one person in the squad would carry the Squad Leaders Pouch.
    A must have item to complete your WWI M1910 Haversack Pack.
