WWI US Army AEF Gas Mask with Canvas Carry Bag - Original - Nice Condition Set
Up for sale is a WWI US Army AEF Gas Mas with Canvas Carry Bag.  This is an Original period Gas Mask.  The canvas carry bag is in very nice condition.  It has the shoulder strap and the chest tie string.  There are no rips or tears in the bag.  The fasteners work fine.  The bag has some markings under the flap, as shown in the photo.  The gas mask has the filter cannister, the hose is starting to stiffen, as is common on these.  There is a small split in the hose.  The mask has the glass eye pieces, the canvas portion is some stiff by is still pliable, this is a common condition on the style mask.  WWI US Gas Masks are starting to get somewhat hard to find.  The prices keep going up.  So, get yours now while it is available.
NOTE: this mask is being sold for collectible and display purposes ONLY.  It is NOT suitable for actual usage and should not be worn or attempted to be used as a functional gas mask.
This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI Collection.
