WWI AEF US Army Red Cross Nurse or Volunteer Navy Blue Wool Leggins or Puttees - RARE
Up for sale is a WWI AEF US Army Red Cross Nurse or Volunteer Navy Blue Wool Leggins/Puttee Set.  This is the early style worn by Female memebers of the Red Cross, they have four buttons on each side and a leather strap that goes under the sole of the shoe.  There is one button missing on each leggin, see photo.  They area a size 10, manufacturer tag is present.  They are used, see photo's for condition.  No rips or tears.  No mothing.  Some soiling from prior usage.
This would make an interesting addition to your WWI Collection.  These are missing from most WWI Collections.
