WW1 (Known & Identified) British Army Veterans Brass Belt Buckle, Kings Crown

Identified Great War Veterans British Brass Belt Buckle, Great Patina. Dieu Et Mon Droit=God and My Right.  2014 marked the 100th Anniversary of the start of the Great War. This buckle was purchased by me as a Great War item from the estate of Basil Algemon Hanham who was born in Faversham Kent approximately 1893.  Basil enlisted in the "Kensingtons" on November 5, 1912 and served in the BEF from November 3, 1914 to May 10, 1915.  He was wounded in action on Christmas, December 25, 1914 and was returned to the United Kingdom in January 1915.  He was discharged as a result of his wounds in May.  His original service number was 1351 which was later re numbered 490093.  He was awarded the 1914 Mons Star ( BEF first battle in the war ) as well as the British War &Victory Medals as well as a Silver Wound Badge.  Unfortunately this was the only item of his available at the estate sale.  Collectibles from this era are getting harder to come across and are certain to appreciate in value over time.
