    Description

    M1910 Mess Kit--90th Division Unit Marked
    Original WW1 US M1910 mess kit, two piece aluminum construction with nickel silver hinge socket, nickel silver pull ring on lid, and tin plated steel handle. Well marked U.S./W.S. CO./1918 on tip of handle [Wheeling Stamping Company, Wheeling, West Virginia]. Unit marked MD 345 MGB on handle [Medical Detachment, 345th Machine Gun Battalion, 90th Division]. Complete with WB/W 1917 dated fork which was inside the kit when I got it.
    Mess kit shows typical wear from use but no dents, oxidation or other damage. No names, service numbers, or any other markings on the kit. Quite possibly one of the most common pieces of WW1 US gear, but a nice piece for any collector of WW1 90th Division items and is in fine condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
