    Description

    WW 1, and before, leather Sam Browne belt with matching cross strap. All solid brass fittings present and in working order. The width of the belt is 2 3/8" which was authorized size before being changed in 1900 to 2 1/8" width. All brass parts have been browned to avoid attraction. Belt will fit up to a 35" waist. At about the 3rd "D" ring from the buckle, three stud loops have been made. Might have been for a child. The leather belt & shoulder strap are supple and ready to use. Leather needs polishing if so desired. No makers mark or prior owners name.
