Dixie-Ohio Express' first trucks were all 'straight' because of the length laws.  The company later got into the 'long' 18 footers.  In 1934, William McGee, E.W. Swartz, and Clarence Kelley began the Dixie-Ohio Express company in Akron, Ohio.
