This  vintage Japanese bento box (lunch box) is unused and still in the original clear plastic bag packaging. The top is decorated with a image of Superman. The oval shaped bento box is 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall, 3.75 inches ( 9.5 cm) wide and 1 inch ( 2.54 cm) deep.
I have not opened the bag but you can clearly see the box interior with a divider and a small soft plastic bottle in the shape of an elephant (for soy sauce). Most of these vintage aluminum bento boxes are set up like this. A paper sheet in Japanese (instructions?) is also included in the package.
This item is unsold, unused and in excellent condition. The date on the front says DC Comics Inc.1979.
