    Description

    A horse in a heart embroidered on a green background with a yellow border.  The badge measures about 1 1/2" in diameter.
    The badge "Horse Lover" was introduced in 1980 as a proficiency badge for Junior Girl Scouts as part of the Worlds to Explore program.   Its yellow border shows it is part of the World of the Out of Doors.  It was discontinued in 2001.
