CRACKER JACK METAL LUNCHBOX & PLASTIC THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1979.
This rare R-5 embossed lunchkit features one of our favorite sweet and salty snack foods for well over 100 years!
This molasses-flavored caramel coated popcorn with peanuts goes all the way back to 1896.
That’s not a typo – kids have been smacking their lips and collecting their prize - (actually they stopped having prizes in the box in 2016).

Awesome artwork by the designer and artistic director for Aladdin,
Elmer Lehnhardt
, who also created the embossed effect.
Box and thermos include the KJ mascots Sailor Jack and dog bingo.
You will not find a nicer example of this classic American collectible from Elmer and Aladdin!
Condition: Box and thermos are complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder).
Box lithos are clean and glossy thoughout the main and rim panels - with no blemishes to the rised areas so typical with these vintage embossed boxes.
Very clean rims with a hint of spidering - with no corner dents or dimples.  Metal hardware is nice and shiny.
Inside of box is also very clean - with no previous owner markings.
Box in overall Mint C-9.5 condition - and includes the original retail insert.
Thermos decals are very clean and glossy throughout - in overall
Mint C-9.5
condition.  APPEARS UNUSED.
Looks like it came right off the sales floor - a real top-end example of this tasty kit!
