    Description

    This is a vintage New Jersey State Department of Health Booklet, titled, "to Womanhood For Girls in the Teens. The booklet measures only 4" by 7" and is 18 pages long. Concerned mostly with morals, with a little education thrown in. Includes outdated advice such as, "A girl who is well and strong should feel little or no discomfort during her menstrual period. If you experience difficulty, it is due probably to faulty hygiene."  Oh, really?  Interesting!
