    Description

    A U.S. Army m.1916 holster for the m.1911 .45 cal. pistol
    A well worn WWI dated holster for use with the 1911 Army semi auto pistol. Leather is soft and pliable but  shows a lot of honest wear. Has the brass belt hanger, maker marked with inspectors initials and is dated 1918.
    Has about a 1 1/2 inch tear on the flap as pictured, it could be repaired for actual use if desired. As is, it displays well on obverse side with US embossed on flap.
