    Interesting but NOT mentioned in the book -- "Donald Watson (1894 - 1981), was a vaudeville performer, acrobat, magician, radio personality, musician and emcee, started the career of the great Bob Hope and toured with Elsie Janis" (Wikipedia). lt is also my understanding that he lived in Colon, Michigan (The Magic Capital of the World) and that his endorsement would often appear on Abbott Magic product advertising.
