About the Author
Dorothy Young got her start in show business thanks to HOUDINI himself.
At the tender age of 17 in 1925. Ms. Young went on to become
a major success in her own right. In 2003 she gifted almost
Million to Drew University, which built...
"The Dorothy Young Center for The Arts" in her honor.
After working with Houdini Ms. Young appeared in several Broadway Shows then onto Hollywood Films, she has written two novels - "Diary Without Dates" and "Dancing On A Dime" which was made into a feature film. She was a world class Latin dancer with top billing as Dorothy & Gilbert and if that's not enough she is recognized as a prolific and highly acclaimed landscape - still life painter with her paintings hanging in galleries around the world.
