THE GOOD LETTER   by Kirk Stiles   published  by Paul Diamond, as part of his Magical Masterpieces series.   (undated, but circa mid-1970's)
Paperback, 4 pages, describing a card and coin routine with patter ideas.
I remember when this first came out, and the cover photo of Kirk Stiles reminded me of my father, who also had one of those 1970's checked sports coats with the wide lapels, big glasses and a broad smile.    (My dad did not have that shaggy hairdo, though!)       Although Paul Diamond may have been applying the term "masterpiece" a bit liberally here, the routine described is a good one.  Quick, impressive and entertaining.
In a nutshell, a card flies from the deck and you produce a coin from it.     The patter story about postal workers sorting the good letters from the bad letters makes it into an entertaining performance piece.
Only 4 pages, but well-explained, and printed on high quality slick paper.
Condition notes:  This is new-old dealer inventory.  Even though the booklet is at least 40 years old, it is like new, clean, unmarked, and tight.
