    From Ireland Magic, (even before they became Magic Inc), this is the 3rd printing (1964) of the 1958 classic "BERT ALLERTON'S THE CLOSE UP MAGICIAN".    The book was edited by Robert Parrish, and it describes many of the routines that made Allerton one of the first highly successful table hopping magicians.  If you have ever table hopped, or want to table hop, this book is must-reading.   It is also great for general close-up workers.   Allerton was a consummate pro, from whom we all can learn much.
