    Description

This one has everything going for it: Condition is excellent showing very little use. Great unit markings to the Machine Gun Company of the 350
    th
    Infantry (88
    th
Division.) ID'd in several spots to Corporal William C. Painter from San Francisco, who is on the unit roster. New York Depot inspector stamp. And nice 1917 dated contractor stamp.
No buttons missing. Little soiling. No damage. Still flexible.
    The 350
    th
Infantry was at Camp Cody, New Mexico for training until the fall of 1918 and then went overseas for a few months. It was probably then that the poncho was issued given its excellent condition.
Hard to upgrade this one!  And as you know these are just about impossible to find.
    Shipping weight 5 pounds.
