This is the Girl Scout STAR OF BETHLEHEM Troop Crest.  It has been in use from 1913 through 2012 - ALMOST 100 YEARS!  These can be found in all the many fabrics and variations in which badges were issued.  This listing is for the
1955 version of the covert fabric of the Intermediate Girl Scout Uniform
.   What makes this a VERY RARE badge is the light green border indicating that it was made in very early 1955 with leftover thread from 1948.  Check my store for other eras at different prices
