Silver Mouth Turban - Turbo Argyrostoma - Kwajalein Atoll - Marshall Islands

This Silver Mouth turban shell is from the Kwajalein Atoll which is part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. In the late 1970's a member of my family spent time at the U.S. military facilities at Kwajalein Island.
The shell was collected at that time and shipped back to United States.
Since then it has been stored in a smoke-free environment.
The size of the shell is approximately
2 1/4
inches x
1 1/2
inches.
Condition - the shell appears to be a "beach find" so there may be conditions issues including faded color, edge chips, etc.
There are no major condition issues.
Nothing has been done to enhance the condition of the shell.
