    American Red Cross First Aid Dressing
    Original WW1 American Red Cross First Aid Outfit [field first aid dressing], basically the same size and construction [brass case with steel pull ring opener] as the military version, except painted white with litho printed Red Cross insignia and nomenclature. Mfg by BAUER & BLACK, Chicago, same contractor that made the military version. Some wear to painted finish as can be seen from being carried, but dressing is unopened. Much harder to find than the military version [this is the only one I've seen in over 40 years of dealing in militaria], nice addition to any WW1 US or military medical gear collection and is in very good condition.
