    Description

    Being offered is a Model 1916 .45 automatic Colt leatherholster from WWII, c 1940s.  The holsteris marked with the rare Harpham Brothers mark on the backside.
    The Harpham Brothers Saddlery Company, of Lincoln Nebraska,was in business from the late 19
    th
    century until just after the endof WWII.

    Condition: This holster is a recent estate sale find and isin mint condition for its age.
    Most ofthese original holsters have heavy wear and damage from use.
    This particular offering has very littlewear.
    The surface is smooth with onlyminor nicks, scuffs and all stitching is intact.
    All metal components, including the belt hanger, are non-magnetic,which indicates some type of alloy of brass or other metal. The metal isblackened and is difficult to decipher.
    The holster has a nice even russet-potato color and retainsmuch of the original surface shine.
