pre-WWI Era US Army Model 1905 Mills Woven Shotgun Shotshell Belt for the US M1897 Winchester Trench Gun - Modified - Nice Condition
Up for auction is an Original pre-WWI Era US Army Mills Pattern 1905 Woven Shotgun Shotshell Belt for the US M1897 Winchester Trench Gun.  The belt has 25 shotshell loops for 12 Gauge Shells.  It has the standard loop buckle.  The belt has been modified by riveting one of the belt to secure the loop buckle.  This modification eliminates the adjustment on that one side of the belt.  The belt is used, see photo's for condition, no rip or tears.  One minor fraying spot and no fading of color.  It has the Mills Patent Dates on the metal portion of the buckle.  These shotgun belt are very hard to find, especially in this condition.  This is the early closed bottom loop version.
