pre-WWI Era US Army M1910 Garrison Belt Rifle Cartridge Pouch - Pea Green Color w/Rimmed Eagle Snap - Marked: Mills 1914 - VERY RARE
Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era US Army M1910 Garrison Belt Rifle Cartridge Pouch.  The pouch has the "puckered" pocket and the Rimmed Eagle Snap.  It is marked with the Mills Logo and dated 1914.  It is used, please see photo's for condition.  No rips or tears, minor fading of the color.  It has faint Unit Markings on the rear.
RARE to find these on the loose.  These were used with the M1910 Garrison Belts.
This was used by sentries on Garrison or Guard Duty at US Military Installations.  The belt would be worn with one or two Garrison Ammo pouches.  These pouches would hold two stripper clips of .30-06 ammunition for the M1903 Springfield Rifle.
