Description

A universal/generic switch that fits many 6 Volt convertibles.
NOTE:  Can only be used on original style bi-directional pumps -  must have 3 wires - must have two wires Plus a ground wire. Will Not Work on two wire replacement pumps!
Fits all 6 or 12 volt convertibles with a two wire plus ground wire pump - a total of 3 (three) wires.
Switch is mounted in one of the holes under the dash.
One wire goes to the hot side of the battery.
On most cars hot is positive. On early FoMoCo cars, hot is negative.
The remaining two wires connect to the pump.

You will receive installation directions.
You will receive a heavy duty momentary switch that shuts off when you release the switch. Wiring to go from power source (battery or fuse block) to switch. Wiring to go from mounted switch to pump in the back of the car. Requires NO relays - if your car uses relays, bypass and ignore them.
If you are trying to find an original switch for your car, use this setup as a stop gap top switch for you car. Works great and looks fine!
