    Description

Pith helmet dated 1915 with 3 fold puggaree and broad arrow marked inside sweat band. Chin strap is absent. Underside is green. Top vent sew and stapled. Should fit roughly a 21" diameter head. Leather sweat band has an adjustment string.
The green felt sew on diamond measures ! 1/2" per side. This was typical size for officers. OR's were larger. This colour was worn by both the 2nd Coy, 5th Bn King's Liverpool and !st/8th Bn of the Sherwood Foresters. looks like an officer latched onto an OR's pith helmet. Very unusual.
