OWEN MAGIC SUPREME Catalog #9 1976 124 pp. apparatus New/Old stock

124 page softcover catalog for magic manufacturer OWEN MAGIC SUPREME, located in Azusa California until the building was sold last year.
This catalog was published in 1976 and was the first Owen catalog to include invention credits for many of the effects Owen offered.  As you can imagine,
this effort, noble as it was, was doomed to failure and filled with errors and mis-spellings.  In fact,  former Owen employee, Fred Rickard, wrote a few pages of
corrections which were published in an obscure newsletter type magazine.  (not supplied)  Nevertheless,  some of the credits are accurate and for that reason,  this contribution to
the history of magic ideas should be applauded.
We obtained what we believe are the remaining copies of Catalog #9 from Owen Magic Supreme around the time they closed their Azusa location last year.
This catalog includes a section of color photos of props as well as a large number of effects illustrated with drawings or b&w photos.
Our copies are new/old stock, straight from the boxes the printer packed them in.  They may have minor flaws, but they are unread with flat, uncreased spines.
A word of warning though:  these catalogs were manufactured by gluing the pages to the cover.  As they age,  the glue becomes brittle and care should be taken to
prevent the pages from loosening.  Simply grip the spine with the fingers and palm of the hand as you peruse the catalog in order to relieve the stress on the binding,
and your copy should still give many years of great service.
