    Description

    Original WWI U.S. Combat Medic/Corpsman, U.S. Medical Department Zonas gauze bandage.  NOS, new old stock, unissued surplus from it's original box.  Contract No. 854 with Johnson & Johnson dated July, 1918.  No rips, tears, smudges etc.  Museum type quality!!  U.S. Medical Department supply tables during WWI show that the department stocked three sizes of these.  2 1/2" X 6 yards, 3" x 6 yards and 3 1/2" X 6 yards.  A variety of six were issued with both the Hospital Corps pouch and to be carried in the Hospital Corps web belt.  These are getting hard to find especially in this condition.
