Description
This is an ORIGINAL and VERY GOOD condition M1910 enlisted man's garrison belt pouch issued to those on guard duty with the M1903 Springfield rifle.  The woven web cartridge pouch has TWO lift-the-dot snaps, rather than one.  I suppose this was done to permit TWO stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield Rifle being inserted into the pouch, rather than the normal one clip.  The color is a strong light olive drab shade used before the switch to the khaki shade during WWI (please see the non-flash images above).  There are NO manufacture stampings on the ammunition pouch.
This is an excellent opportunity for the advanced WWI equipment collector to obtain a unique and rare belt pouch which will make a great addition to the collection.  The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and a five-day (
