This is an original cover from September 12, 1907 for Leslie's Weekly Magazine with an image of a couple in their Sunday best clothes out in a small sailboat.  She has the fishing line and he has a hook working together while under full sail.  Art was done by Patrick J. Monahan who was a famous artist in his time.  All but his brother died of the flu at age 8 and he went to work at a newspaper at age 13 and made his way through the Des Moines Academy of Art being sponsored by the Women's Club and Iowa Society of Fine Arts.  He later moved to NYC and did frelance art for many magazines.  He also designed an internal combustion engine and had 8 children!
