  • Condition: This offering is for an antique circa 1930's full size suitcase with advertising on the lid that reads "PENINSULA TAILORS R-9 PRESIDENT HOTEL KOWLOON HONG KONG TEL: 663230". The suitcase is made of a heavy duty molded and painted canvas type material with typical metal latches, hinges and corner protectors of the era. The inside is lined in a checked cotton flannel material. The suitcase measures app. 22" long by 15" wide and 7" deep. The condition is excellent with a few minor bumps, rubs and dents but as seen in our photo's it simply wonderful! The stitching on both side panels at the bottom is pretty much gone but they must have been glued under the joints as they are still solidly held together. The lining is excellent and although a little dusty it's undamaged.
