Many of us grew up on the Bill Tarr books of magic. This addition to the Tarr library takes his earlier works, and notches it up a couple of levels. It's written in the Tarr style, and is filled with full-blown, tested routines that workers will put into action. Absolutely wonderful. These days, it's a tough find...
