Mizuno GOC-7 vintage professional baseball glove. Pre-owned, but never used.
I havea Mizuno professional baseball glove that has never been used. When I sayprofessional glove, I mean this is the exact model that major league playersuse. The GOC-7; which was made in Japan, was part of Mizuno’s World Win line ofprofessional gloves.
Mizunono longer makes the GOC line (made in the 1980s and the1990s); but the GOC lineis equivalent to Mizuno’s current Global Elite series (around 0) or the ProLimited Edition line (around 0).
Thequality of the leather of this GOC-7 is amazingly. The GOC-7 is a 12.75 inchoutfielder’s glove. I know the quality of the GOC-line because: A) I used aGOC-5 (slightly smaller infielder’s model) for 20+ years and B) I used to workfor the company that handled all of the Mizuno baseball products in the UnitedStates.
Mizunofirst became popular with professional players in the early-1980s when theyconverted an RV into a glove-making/repair shop and visited every springtraining facility; which included several glove technicians and an interpreter.
Mostgloves listed for or more are: A) used and not in good condition and B) arenot true professional-quality gloves.
