Microtome for Ames Miles Tissue Tek 4553 Cryostat, used condition

Used microtome to fit the Tissue Tek 4553 Cryostat.  I have fourteen of these units.  All should be in working condition, but may need minor tuning.  They are untested (although honestly there's not much that can go wrong with them - they are 100% mechanical - I will check them before I send them out).  Most of them have the blade holder that takes the thick blades that require re-sharpening (such as the blade holder in the photo).  A couple of them have a blade holder that will take a disposable blade, but it the "old style" holder that requires an allen wrench to change blades - we found that this blade holder promoted "chatter" in our frozen sections.  Free shipping to lower 48.  Let me know if you have any questions or need additional photos.  Also, let me know if  you need any parts for your old Tissue Tek cryostats - we have lots.
One more thing: If you are willing to sell your 4553 Ames Tissue Tek cryostat, let me know.  We are always looking for units that still have good cooling capacity and an intact defrost cycle.  We don't necessarily need the microtome, trays, crank, rod or heat sink.  Just the freezer box with intact refrigeration system.
