    Description

This auction is for all fossils shown in picture located inside marked area #3. About 30 years ago I had the pleasure of going with Jack Loftin, local historian and author of the book TRAILS THROUGH ARCHER published in 1979, to the famous RED BEDS area by Archer City, Texas in Archer County. After picking all day this is part of the fossils I found. I am not knowledgeable about Paleontological fossils so all I can do is show the pictures and let the experts make their own judgement instead of me keeping them in a cigar box and never being looked at. I understand most of the fossils found in this area are broadly called sail lizards like ERYOPS, DIMETRODEN, DIADECTES, etc. These are some of the first land lizards 280 million years ago  living before the Dinosaurs. Please see pictures as they are part of description. I ship to USA only. Please email with any questions.
