Large Rooted Fossil Alligator Tooth - Florida

This is an authentic fossil alligator tooth from Florida. There is no restoration or repair on this tooth. This tooth is very large, bigger than many of my tyrannosaur teeth even! It also has a deep concavity in the root, which is pretty neat. Generally because the root is hollow most will break off, leaving just the crown. This tooth is definitely a cool piece of Florida’s fossil record.
