This auction is for a beautiful high quality single new-old-stock Ideal Equestrian luxe leather adjustable carriage cart driving pony size padded harness breast collar with padded neck strap, swivel style rein terrets, and nickel buckles. The item has 2 tags that read in part as follows: IDEAL EQUESTRIAN. MASTER CRAFTSMEN IN SADDLERY-HARNESS. ART NO. HD-9006 SIZE. PONY. We believe that this item was made within the last 5-10 years. This item retails for over 0.00 online. Please note that this item has been treated with a high quality leather conditioner with a mildew/mold inhibitor. The breast collar has 4 attached buckle/straps and 2 large buckles on either end. The breast collar measures roughly 41 1/2” in length measuring around the face of it and 3 1/4“ wide. The terrets, rings, and buckles/pins throughout the set appear to be made of nickel. None of the metal components were attracted to a magnet when tested. The neck strap has 4 straps attached to it with 3 holes in each strap. The neck strap also has swivel-type rein terrets that move slightly from side to side. The neck strap pad measures roughly 12” x 3“ at its furthest points. The 4 straps attached to the padded neck strap measure roughly 11 3/4“ in length. The neck straps also measure roughly 3/4” wide and 1/4” thick. The metal components have wear, fading, scratches, nicks, dirty and/or dusty areas, and oxidation. The leather components have fading, scratches, nicks, dings, dusty and/or dirty areas, manufacturing imperfections, and normal shelf/storage-type wear. The padding also has dent- and/or impression-type marks in several areas. The combined weight of the breast collar set is roughly 3 lbs 13 oz.
