Description

Hyphalosaurus lingyuaneasis was an aquatic dinosaur that lived in the Lower Cretaceous period around 120 million years ago in the Jehol Biota of northeastern China.
This is a big specimen measuring 22” long as it sits in the slate. The frame measures 29” x 16” and is ready to hang. The fossil has a burlap matte border that comes with a nice glass frame and mahogany stained wood. The fossil and slate have cracks throughout the piece and I cannot not tell if the cracks go all the way through. They are only noticeable up close. There is also a small piece of slate that has separated and is now resting by its left hand. See photos. I have never removed the fossil from the frame and the frame also acts to secure the specimen safely. Sold as is framed. I purchased this item as an original genuine real fossil from user: Ibeing however I cannot guarantee it’s authenticity. This item will be shipped safely in foam, bubble wrap, and inside a wooden crate.
