Horse drawn chariots

Description

These are one-of-a kind Chariots. Four 21st Century style with a Greek and Roman feel. Whether you might be looking for a business venture in the arena of entertainment, a parade unit, or just to have fun being a charioteer in your own back yard, these are unique "one of a kind " vehicles.
Construction is all fiberglass and stainless steel. A low center of gravity makes these units flip proof. Unique wheels allow these 450# chariots to roll along with ease, and are much stronger than any other wheels. They are simple to put together and hitch to the horses.
Harnesses - There are eight, two-horse sets, complete with bridles and lines. These are beautiful top grade leather harnesses, made by world class saddle makers, BT CRUMP, in Virginia. They are designed after those seen in the 1959 Oscar winning movie " BEN HUR ".  They are very strong and expertly crafted. There are a variety of colors, witch allows for coordination with both the horses and the chariots alike.
We put on events through out the US from 1990 -2002.  These included: Arabian Chariot Races at thoroughbred and standard bred race tracks, parades, special events, and demonstrations.
Leading up to the Atlanta Olympics we were contacted about being the act   kicking off the opening ceremonies. It was to be the 100th year of the modern Olympic Games. Chariot Racing would be the perfect event, as that was THE classic sport in the original Olympic Games. We were "in the running",but___.
In New Market, VA, Robert Duvaul drove one of our teams. At the US National Arabian Horse Championships, Albuquerque, NM, Patrick Swaysee drove during our arena presentation.
In 1997 Michigan State University asked us to open their home football games.We did that for five seasons. In addition, we appeared in about twelve parades and special events for MSU every year. They changed from artificial turf to natural grass, ending our run, as they were afraid the grass would be too expensive to maintain.
The chariots, harnesses and other equipment are in very good condition. They are event ready !!    ----- I, on the other hand, might need a day or two. ------
Any Alumni or super fan of MSU would be proud to own this piece of SPARTAN history. These units could be put on display in your home, yard, office, or at MSU.  There are costumes, photos, and other items we could put in the deal.
The ONLY THINGS that cannot be a part of the package are the horses.
