Description
A clever photographic trade brochure for women's fur coats. It is a three-part photograph folded so that it can stand up, giving a 3-dimensional simulation of a furrier's 3-panel mirror. The images show a woman modeling a fur coat.
In 1886, manufacturing furriers J. Freystadt & Sons were founding members of the Manufacturing Furriers' Association of New York. This unusual use of photography and advertising was aimed directly at women in the early 1920s.
