    These are Permian-era amphibians or reptiles Coconino Permian Tracks.
    imprints in flagstone fossil, there is 2 piece one is thin about 3/8" and the other about 1 1/4" thick. these are very impressive imprint pieces. thank you for looking, have a nice day. Free shipping, weight is about 10lbs or so. look in my

    From what i was told and looked up on the enternet,
    Permian era fossils are quite literally 200,000 million years older (give or take a dozen million years!) than when raccoons existed, so the fossil you are selling is much cooler! (And there are no raccoon tracks to speak of in the fossil record, just owing to the nature of where and how tracks are preserved).
    Lastly: as a technicality, the animal that made these tracks is, more accurately, a mix between a reptile and a mammal (it's a species line that went completely extinct (synapsid-like), but if you saw one you would basically say, "Hey - that's a semi-aquatic lizard."
