Fossil Reptile Partial Turtle Fossil Lake Green River Formation Wyoming

Here is a fossil from the world-famous fossil beds of Fossil Lake, Green River Formation, Wyoming. From the Eocene, 52 million years ago.
Not exactly sure what we have here, but it has great eye-appeal and it definitely is from the Fossil Lake fossil beds.  The contrast between the bones and the matrix is stunning.
We took it to an expert on the subject in the Fossil Butte Member area, and he was also unsure, but his best conclusion is that it is likely 2 bones from a giant turtle. Indeed, Fossil Lake has some monstrously large turtle fossils, some of the largest in the world.
The piece is about 7" by 4.1", and it weighs 6.35 oz.  There was a small crack under the large flat bone, which was glued together.
So there you go. Maybe you have a better idea of what it is, we are open to feedback.  Meanwhile, it is for sale, as a rare and interesting piece of Fossil Lake history.
