    Description

    This is an almost-perfect
    Carcharodontosaurus saharicus
    tooth
from the Kem Kem Formation in Morocco.
    Carcharodontosaurus
was a bipedal, carnivorous dinosaur, bigger than T. rex, with a mouth full of curved serrated teeth. It lived during the Cretaceous era.
The tooth is 1.77 inches long -this is a straight measurement from base to tip, and 1.0 inches wide at the base. The tooth has most of its original enamel, well-preserved serrations (enamel folds) and very slightly worn tip. The tooth has  not been repaired.
