This is a rare and outstanding dinosaur trace fossil. It is a museum quality Grallator tenuis track (split pair) from the Early Jurassic of Massachusetts, which is an ichnogenus associated with a small meat eating theropod dinosaur like Coloephysis.
The negative and positive tracks are intact (convex and concave) and made a good impression into what is now shale rock. The tracks wonderfully exhibit the three-toed nature of the dinosaur's foot and claw impressions are also present. The track has been lightly dyed for enhanced contrast (

) .
This is a museum quality dinosaur track at a reasonable price that would easily fit on a shelf or in a display case.
